Welcome back to Jesus Unfollower, where we laugh at religious absurdity!
You might have noticed (or maybe you didn’t) that this URL/Website/Substack has changed to KevinCroweComedy.com. I’ll get to that in a minute.
If you know anything about me, or if you’ve been around here for long, you know that I have had issues sticking with things.
This newsletter alone has gone through many changes. It started as Unfollower’s Digest, then I changed it to Comments From Christians, then Unholy Nonsense… then Jesus Unfollower.
That’s a lot.
My podcasting efforts have gone along the same lines. I ran the Jesus Unfollower podcast pretty consistently in 2020 and 2021, but then it started feeling like more of a chore than something I wanted to do.
I had brief moments where I thought I wanted to do a podcast where I watch and talk about cringe Christian movies… and reading the Bible as an atheist (ugh, why did I even think I’d want to do that?).
I’ve dabbled with The Frank Truth Show as a comedic outlet for myself, but I quickly learned that doing an entire podcast in character requires a lot of planning and isn’t easy to do.
I said all of that to say this: I’m simplifying.
I just want to show up as me. I’m thinking long-term. I HATE starting things and not following through, so I’m done with that.
What once was JesusUnfollower.com is now KevinCroweComedy.com.
My handle everywhere was once @JesusUnfollower. Now, it’s @KevinCroweComedy.
And what once was the Jesus Unfollower podcast is now…
The Jesus Unfollower podcast feed has changed to Unnecessary with Kevin Crowe.
Unnecessary is a comedy podcast where I talk about all of the shit I find funny within religion, politics, pop culture, sports, and everyday life.
Important:
The Jesus Unfollower newsletter is now a section of this website. You’ll still receive those emails like you always have.
Unnecessary will be another section where I post about the podcast.
